Art established AEBetancourt in 2015 and created our Recruiting-as-a-Service model with proven results for clients. Under his leadership, the organization has earned several distinct honors and awards that include ranking on the Inc 5000 list. Art received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Tyler and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He also holds SHRM-SCP and SPHR certifications and serves on multiple boards in the community. Outside of the office, Art enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, and attending as many Notre Dame football games as possible.

With more than a decade of experience in recruiting, business consulting, sales training and management in the insurance industry, Brian serves as AEBetancourt's Chief Operating Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Michigan State University, and a Juris Doctor in Litigation from Cooley Law School. In his spare time, Brian enjoys staying active, being outside, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and son.

The most rewarding and meaningful aspect of Human Resources for Christa is helping businesses grow by developing people. It’s a pivotal role that facilitates making great people better by giving them the tools they need to be successful while removing barriers that can inhibit that success. Christa earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Depaul University and her MBA from Northwestern in Strategy and Organizational Behavior. When she’s not helping people become their very best, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, experiencing great music or a good book, and dining out.

Belen is an Armed Forces Veteran who served four years in the United States Army including one tour in Iraq. She began her recruiting career in Information Technology specializing in the infrastructure, cyber security, and cloud space. And is a proud graduate of The Art Institute of Chicago. In her free time Belen enjoys spending time outdoors camping, cooking, fishing, gardening and kayaking with her husband. When indoors she loves to cook and read with her two toddlers.

Ryan brings over a decade of experience in the insurance industry with roles ranging from sales management and marketing to financial analysis and mergers & acquisitions. Originally from Pennsylvania, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Gettysburg College and then his MBA from the University of Notre Dame. In his free time, you can find Ryan traveling with his wife and son, going for long walks with his dog or hitting the links for a round of golf.

Spencer is a coffee drinker turned Talent Consultant, passionate about helping organizations and individuals hire and find great opportunities. He graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor's in Human Resources. In his career he has filled over 200 positions ranging from Chefs, teachers, to C-Level executives. When he is not working, he enjoys exercising, cheering on the Maize and Blue, and playing guitar.

Flexibility and adaptation are skills that have always been foundational to Jenny's career. After growing up in Grand Rapids, she moved to the east coast to earn a degree in criminal justice while working as a full time nanny for a young girl with special needs. Over a decade later, she returned to West Michigan serving in office operations and management for one of the top 10 CPA and consulting firms in the U.S. When not making life better for the people she works with, Jenny enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, working on DIY projects, and listening to live music.

A graduate of Grand Valley State University, Allie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management and Psychology. As a student, she interned at three different organizations gaining valuable HR and recruiting experience in manufacturing, insurance, and consulting before handling all HR functions for a company in the transportation industry. Outside of the office Allie enjoys staying physically active, caring for her animals, and spending time in downtown GR.

Courtney has developed a broad range of HR expertise in the manufacturing and IT industries navigating the nuances of managing start-up facilities and supporting others during acquisitions. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Western Michigan University and is SHRM certified. Creating meaningful, sustainable processes to improve the employee experience brings her satisfaction and enjoyment in her career. In her free time, Courtney loves spending time with her husband and two kids camping, being on the water, or simply trying new places to eat.

Derek developed his sales experience within the factory automation industry. However, his depth of knowledge in sales and networking is much broader than manufacturing. After graduating from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, Derek began his career in commercial banking credit lending and residential mortgage financial analysis. When not focused on helping clients, Derek likes to stay active with golf, basketball, running, enjoying the great outdoors, and going to concerts.

Duncan is an experienced recruiting and employment consultant. Prior to joining AEBetancourt, Duncan spent five years recruiting in the Wealth Management industry and led the teams' recruiting and business development efforts in the Northeast. Duncan was born and raised in Grand Rapids and graduated from Grand Valley State University's Frederik Meijer Honors College and Seidman School of Business, where he studied Finance. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, staying active, and playing golf.

Originally from the east-side of Michigan, Erin attended Grand Valley State University where she earned a degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources, minoring in Spanish. When not at work, Erin enjoys visiting with friends and family, playing tennis, traveling, and spending time by the water.

Originally from the Cleveland area, John spent 11 years as the Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator with the track and field program at Oberlin College where he received his Bachelor's degree and also played football and competed in track and field. He then earned a Master's degree from The Ohio State University. Having proven himself to be an elite recruiter and talent evaluator, John brings a unique interpersonal and holistic approach to recruiting efforts to create and develop meaningful relationships with individuals and organizations across industries. John loves spending time with his wife and nephews, ice cream, movies, being active, all things music, and watching and following just about every sport in existence.

Greg is a graduate of Kent State University, holds the “Breakthrough Award” from Mandel Communications and serves on numerous community and charitable boards including the Y of Greater Grand Rapids.

Allison fell in love with recruitment because she loves being able to connect the right people with the right career and company. We spend about 80% of our day at the office and with our co-workers, so it’s all about getting the right culture fit. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources from Baker College and recently earned her SHRM-CP. When Allison isn’t at work she enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, traveling, trying new restaurants, and reading a good book when she needs to unwind. She also serves on the Board of Directors of a rescue called Last Day Dog Rescue, whose mission is to rescue dogs from shelters on their last day and help them find their forever homes.

As a US Olympian, Tia is no stranger to hard work and dedication. She revamped the recruiting and project management processes for a family-owned construction business, before realizing her passion for employee development and project management. After gaining her Master's degree in Project Management, she spent time working in the higher education marketing space focused on business development while spearheading processes and procedures related to multi-company acquisitions. She is putting her professional certification in Human Resources and Talent Management from Michigan State to good use here at AEB. Now that she and her family are settled back into her hometown of Grand Rapids, they are excited to start a family through adoption and dedicate time to advocating for at-risk youth.

As a mom of two girls, outside of work you will find her engaging in activities that allow her to spend time with family and friends: traveling, exploring area wineries and breweries, or just relaxing while watching a new tv series.

As a Grand Rapids native, Tim continues to make an impact on the community through hosting events, networking, and hosting a local talk show that shines a light on community leaders and influencers. In his free time, Tim enjoys drumming, being active, and spending time with friends and family.
