Scott is passionate about helping others, creating operational efficiencies, and strategic business development. His vast business experience ranging from sales and marketing to operations and finance has earned him an in-depth understanding of various industries, markets, and roles. It is also what fuels his ambition as a recruiter to help others achieve their career goals and to contribute to organizational success. In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with family and friends doing almost anything adventurous and athletically active, as proof by his scuba diving Divemaster status and blackbelt in karate.

Kyle graduated from Davenport University with a Bachelors of Science, and was a member of the 2016 National Championship Lacrosse team. For the past several years he has been working and recruiting in healthcare, focusing on organ procurement where he received a wealth of knowledge on relationship building, networking, and management with healthcare providers, administrators, and C-suite executives.

Originally from the Cleveland area, John spent 11 years as the Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator with the track and field program at Oberlin College where he received his Bachelor’s degree and also played football and competed in track and field. He then earned a Master’s degree from The Ohio State University. Having proven himself to be an elite recruiter and talent evaluator, John brings a unique interpersonal and holistic approach to recruiting efforts to create and develop meaningful relationships with individuals and organizations across industries. John loves spending time with his wife and nephews, ice cream, movies, being active, all things music, and watching and following just about every sport in existence.

Jason has built a broad background as an experienced talent acquisition consultant working with clients in nearly every industry. His passion and drive are hard to miss as he approaches every project with a determined goal to find the perfect candidate to fit each organization. Jason is a graduate of Central Michigan University, avid golfer, and biased owner of the cutest cockapoo. Outside of the office, Jason enjoys traveling with his wife, making specialty cocktails, and playing the guitar (just don’t ask him to sing).

Her background in manufacturing and financial services developed her passion for improving the total employee experience from recruiting and onboarding to training and cultural development. Originally from the east-side of Michigan, Erin attended Grand Valley State University where she earned a degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources, minoring in Spanish. When not at work, Erin enjoys visiting with friends and family, playing tennis, traveling, and spending time by the water.

Duncan is an experienced recruiting and employment consultant. Prior to joining AEBetancourt, Duncan spent five years recruiting in the Wealth Management industry and led the teams’ recruiting and business development efforts in the Northeast. Duncan was born and raised in Grand Rapids and graduated from Grand Valley State University’s Frederik Meijer Honors College and Seidman School of Business, where he studied Finance. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, staying active, and playing golf.

Derek Holden

Derek developed his sales experience within the factory automation industry. However, his depth of knowledge in sales and networking is much broader than manufacturing. After graduating from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, Derek began his career in commercial banking credit lending and residential mortgage financial analysis. When not focused on helping clients, Derek likes to stay active with golf, basketball, running, enjoying the great outdoors, and going to concerts.

Courtney has developed a broad range of HR expertise in the manufacturing and IT industries navigating the nuances of managing start-up facilities and supporting others during acquisitions. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Western Michigan University and is SHRM certified. Creating meaningful, sustainable processes to improve the employee experience brings her satisfaction and enjoyment in her career. In her free time, Courtney loves spending time with her husband and two kids camping, being on the water, or simply trying new places to eat.
